Looking for vids and vidders....

I'm sure you've all already heard the exciting news that the next VídUKon goes down in May 2013!!
I am playing with the idea of putting together a vid show that showcases European vidding. At the last VidUKon there was a UK themed vid show, but this time I'd like to focus on non-british vidders, source and non-english songs. At this point the concept is still pretty vague, so I thought I'd trawl the internets a bit to see what's already out there.
So, if you know any other French, German, Italian, Swedish, Russian etc vidders out there that are not on my flist, let me know (I'm guessing there are some vidders who prefer to blog/interact in their own language and I want to make sure I throw the net as wide as possible. I'm also looking for recs for any vids using non-english European source or songs (not neccessarily the vidders native language, though I assume that's the most likely scenario...) Self-recs are defenitely encouraged!
If you know of any non-english vidding coms please feel free to repost this entry with a link to this post, that would be very helpful.

Date: Sunday, 3 February 2013 12:55 pm (UTC)I just wanted to check in to see whether you're still considering to do a Premier. There's no pressure, it's just a head-count at this point, vids are not due til end of March.

Date: Sunday, 3 February 2013 11:09 pm (UTC)It doesn't say anywhere on the site - that I can find - when you have to have a vidshow playlist ready as a VJ. Is that also end of March? I feel like I'm going to need a crash course in how this is supposed to work technically. And I haven't actually heard for sure that my show is a go yet. Just trying to be ahead of the game.

Date: Monday, 4 February 2013 12:08 am (UTC)Here is the post for last Vidukon: http://vidukon.livejournal.com/26463.html
The show should be around 50 minutes. No official announcements for this year out yet, but then I'm not doing the DVD burning this time, so I'm a bit out of the loop.
Oh, so excited for your premiere - do you have an approx runtime for that? just so that I know how much time to block out on spread sheet. (yes - I'm dorky like that!)

Date: Monday, 4 February 2013 02:01 am (UTC)As it stands on the timeline now, my vid is 03:26. It may go a few seconds longer to make sure there's time to read the credits, but if you put it down at 03:30 that's probably erring on the side of caution.
