Looking for vids and vidders....

I'm sure you've all already heard the exciting news that the next VídUKon goes down in May 2013!!
I am playing with the idea of putting together a vid show that showcases European vidding. At the last VidUKon there was a UK themed vid show, but this time I'd like to focus on non-british vidders, source and non-english songs. At this point the concept is still pretty vague, so I thought I'd trawl the internets a bit to see what's already out there.
So, if you know any other French, German, Italian, Swedish, Russian etc vidders out there that are not on my flist, let me know (I'm guessing there are some vidders who prefer to blog/interact in their own language and I want to make sure I throw the net as wide as possible. I'm also looking for recs for any vids using non-english European source or songs (not neccessarily the vidders native language, though I assume that's the most likely scenario...) Self-recs are defenitely encouraged!
If you know of any non-english vidding coms please feel free to repost this entry with a link to this post, that would be very helpful.

Date: Friday, 15 February 2013 09:32 am (UTC)It's a very poetic film starring some of this generation's best actors of the country. I think it's probably not for everyone, as the pace can feel a bit slow and the overall mood is rather heavy, but lovers of European cinema will enjoy it – even if it's just because it's really pretty, cinematography and all. I hope I can make it into something that works in vid-form.
