In May this year we had the 3. VidUKon, again in Cardiff. I had a really hectic spring this year and not much time on my hands for vidding on top of doing some other VidUKon related things, so I opted to vid a movie - limited source, always a win when vidding to a tight deadline. Since it was a German movie, I wanted a German language song, but not having lived in the country for some years I'm not really up-to-date with what's in, wha's hot and what's good, so I spend forever and an eternity on youtube, swinging from link to link. In the course of which I came across two gen love songs (e.g. using the 2. person rather than 3.) with same sex couples in the offical vid (F/F & M/M, respectively). Neat.
