Daily Post #4:
I admit, I'm fairly easy, and I've got a track record with totally crazy, OTT shows with mystical or supernatural overtones that don't take themselves to seriously and are just really trying to have fun. Sleepy Hollow seems to fit that mould pretty perfcetly. The things it has going for it, in no particular order:
- Witches, and demons, and dimensions, and biblical referrences - and that's just the pilot.
- Hunky lead with long hair who looks foxy with long hair and in period costume.
- Dry and sarcastic dialog and clipped British accents. Everything sounds better in Queen's English, particularly snark. (" Excellent. This day continues to bear gifts. Will we be sharing a cell, Lieutenant?)
- OneHeadless Horseman, three headless normal men, and a head in a portable glass coffin for heads.
- Prospect of future James Frain.
- More crazy than should legally fit into a pilot.
