This movie has been called the German Brokeback Mountain, though it does not have that much in common with that movie. No stunning cinematography or beautiful landscapes here, it's all very prosaic and down-to-earth, ii is part love story, part tragedy and part an exploration of what it is like to be gay in a modern day police force.

This is beautiful. I don't speak German but the music directs the mood of the vid and so the vid flows beautifully. I need to acquire this film, you have convinced me of that much. <3

Oh, thank you! I am so glad that it works for people who don't understand the lyrics. I was pondering whether to go for an English song just to avoid that, but in the end I could not find anything that was working as well as the one I picked. If you have trouble getting hold of the movie PM me, I have an extra copy, the Englsih Version has hard subs and was therefore unsuitable for vidding purposes, so I've got the DVD twice.
