Random TV Round-up

Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas want you to help pay for a Veronica Mars movie

Yay! on so many levels - love the idea of using kickstarter to fun niche!fandom projects and getting industry support by demonstrating a market interest. Very excited about a VM 10 high school reunion movie, that could be a hoot in the vein of Grosse Point Blank. Thrilled that Rob Thomas & Kristen Bell are so keen to make this happen. At time of press they already have over $1.000.000 . By the way, $10 gets you a script and $25 a T-shirt!

Joss Whedon and his crew have made a Shakespeare adaptation

You smell like sunshine ...annd gunpowder - two of my favorite things

Don't you hate it when a boring procedural show keeps hitting you OTP kink everytime you think about quitting and then goes back to neglecting it in favour of some boring case. Plot really just gets in the way on NCIS Los Angeles, but some kind soul summarized the key points of  4x17

Agree 1000000000%
I literally debated watching the episode because I was so over this show.

If every episode was like this I'd be the most ardent fan. But I'm sure that was our dose of Deeks/Kensi moments for the rest of the season. Is is just me, or are there much less of those 'little moements' than there were in the first season (well second season of the show, first they both were on the show)? I got a whole vid out of that, I don't think I'd be able to do that with this season without putting people asleepin'...

So excited about the VM film and Much Ado! I might have reasons to get my lazy ass to the theater in the next year, heh.

I know, right?! Not sure whether they'll be showing either of them in the cinemas over here (they seem both to be planning on 'limited release') but I would LOVE to see both of them on the BIG SCREEN - it just adds an extra layer of excitement, plus, the pop corn is better! I remember seeing Serenity in the cinema and it was a rel thrill to see those characters I knew so well in that setting.

Aw, I hope they do show them in Germany!

HolyMoly, your German, too?! Did I know that?! My whole flist seems to have been taken over by the Germans... ;p

Oops! No, I'm not. Well, I mean, I have German ancestors, but I'm born and raised in the US. Heh heh, sometimes I *wish* I lived in Germany or some other European country, though.

Oh, you where hoping on a German release for my sake? Sorry, I misunderstood that, and may I say, how altruistic of you. Though not really necessary, becaue even though I am very German I do live in the UK, so as long as they release her, I'll be good.

Oh good! Yes, I'm pretty sure a UK release is planned.
